Recap from A-Gong's Table Book Signing and Discussion Panel

On the same week as the mid-autumn festival, we hosted George Lee and Laurent Tsia for a book signing and panel discussion at Good To Eat. Despite the chilly weather, we welcomed a packed house of attendees.

As part of the event, George Lee prepared wa-gui, a classic vegan street food, giving attendees a taste of the cuisine featured in the book. In our patio area, we showcased Laurent Tsia's photographs, which provided visual context for the book's content and enhanced the overall experience.

The heart of the event was a panel discussion with the authors about "A-Gong's Table."  The group discussed culinary topics like vegan cooking, as well as topics on Asian American identities in context of food and one's art practice. We recorded this conversation for those unable to attend and plan to post the video soon. Keep an eye out for the recording on our YouTube channel!

We're grateful to everyone who came out to support "A-Gong's Table" and our local authors. If you haven't gotten the book yet, you can still grab one off Amazon at a discount!
